Do you have any experience in changing pickups, because I just wanted to let you know that your planning on changing from Active to Passive.

I wish I had your knowledge I'm gonna be getting an invader when i got the cash and sticking it in a Schecter A-1 its an old Avenger if ya didn't know. I'm thinking of getting a Dimarzio air norton bridge for the versatality. I really want a decent clean tone and this is a medium output pickup, so i got my clean and i got my high gain terror of the invader Whatever pickup you decide on could you give some feedback and tell us how it sounds

Hmm, I don't know but I never use both pickups at the same time. I've played on Syn's Custom twice now and I use the neck on its own and play some A7X songs and it sounds sweet. I think a bare knuckle will be a great match, the Nailbomb can do it all

Yeah, the invader would sound like muddy shit in the bridge of a hellraiser. The avenged 7 fold dude has custom invaders, the regular ones aren't all that great.

I would recommend a stealth pro sustainic pickup personally, but I just like how it sounds, plus it is insanely fun to use. The guitarist in this video uses it a lot. The guy playing riffs without picking. (gates if you know sevenfold) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnXwUwiZ_wM&fmt=18

I realize that jibib, but I chose that video because you can clearly hear the sound of the pickup without much interference from other instruments, and you can also see how they work, there are many clear shots of him using it in that video. I would still recommend it, it sounds great as a neck pickup (if you were not aware, the sustain mode does not always have to be on, it can be switched off for a normal neck pickup) and is pretty similar to the sound of the invaders. The sustain on it is incredible, and the harmonic mode is awesome too, it instantly turns any not played into a nice squealing harmonic. Let me know if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that sums it up.
